TERMS OF PAYMENT:
Payment terms will be established on the basis of a telegraphic transfer of cash bankto-
bank or via documentary letter of credit (LC) from international bank. Contract to the
seller’s bank, the LC must be irrevocable, transferable, revolving operative 100%
payable at loading port in exchange for shipping documents. (LC preferably from
Barclay’s bank or any other international bank)
SHIPPING DOCUMENT
- Weight certificate issued by the weighting company
- Certificate of origin issue by chamber of commerce
- Bill of lading issue by any capable shipping line
- Pre-shipment inspection report issue by the inspection company
- Packing list issue by the port authority, weighting company and the loading and
packing company - Insurances certificate issue by the inspection company, after the seller
hand over the above mentioned documents to the buyer
PROCEDURE PROPOSAL - Buyer receive the soft corporate offer (SCO)
- The buyer issues LOI/ICPO along with letter of credit draft.
- The seller will respond with the draft of the sales purchase agreement (spa)
- The buyer sign’s and return.
- Buyer issues operative confirmed transferable DLC at sight to the seller bank.
- Seller nominates vessel, loads and send invitation to the buyer to accompany the
SGS inspection and loading of the materials at loading port. - The seller transfers 100% of ownership of the goods (freight and 110% insurance of
value of the goods prepaid) to the buyer. - Payment of the product to be released in sellers nominated upon present of shipping
documents at loading port.
